The universe of IONES MARCELLE is inspired by the multicultural aspect that the designer has known thanks to her different nationalities and by the people close to her, those who have marked her life.
The Iones Marcelle girl is the one "who carries the bag and the bag is not the one who carries her". She is a woman with a unique personality, different, not because she is extravagant, but because of her natural "charm", that is out of the ordinary, and for these reasons the bags she carries are complements, characterize her, reflecting and reaffirming her style as a woman.
Ibiza and Formentera have had a strong influence in the universe of the brand, not only about the historical story of those islands, but also because of colors, landscapes and lifestyle, boho-rock style, natural beauty, multiculturalism and every detail and inspiration everywhere in Pityusic Islands.
Her designs follow their own path, leaving industry trends aside and reflecting a lifestyle and the inner world of people who identify with them.
Designed and handcrafted in Spain by the best leather craftsmen, who are selected for their talent and consciousness.
Leathers are selected meticulously in Spain and France, chosen by the designer for their quality, natural aspect and uniqueness.
Every handcrafted creation is unique because of the behavior and irregularity in every premium selected leather.
ALICIA IONES MARCELLE
Alicia Iones Marcelle Manente has French, Italian and Belgian nationalities; she grew up in Ibiza and Formentera and studied between Paris, Barcelona and Madrid.
She decided to launch her brand in June 2017, IONES MARCELLE (name that comes from her full name Alicia Iones Marcelle, as well as the names of her two grandmothers) after finishing study at IED (European School of Design).
Ibiza and Formentera have had a strong influence in her career and in the world of design, both professionally and personally.
Alicia grew up in an artistic family. She is a curious woman and has always been inspired by details, cultures, places but above all people close to her environment, with an atypical vision of life, and who continue to mark her life: designers, stylists, musicians, painters, creatives; amazing people who Alicia calls "the originals".
Passionate about handcrafted leatherwork, art and fashion, she is convinced that leatherwork is a complement that says a lot about the personality of the one who wears it. Alicia designs and creates handcrafted luxury products.
Always in search of the particular, the originality and the beauty of the different and unique, fascinated by the human being and the different cultures that she has had the opportunity to experience throughout her life in her home place, travels and surroundings, she has always followed her instinct and was inspired by every detail which enriched her creativity and her own universe.
Her collections are not inspired by trends but by natural beauty, atypical beauty, by the natural woman, chameleonic, feminine, sweet but chaotic.
